THANKS TO THE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS FROM ST. MARKS CATHOLIC CHURCH IN ORO VALLEY!

 Fifteen Knights from the Knights of Columbus and their family members volunteered here at the soup kitchen for the first time on Saturday, June 6th.

St. Marks has 115 Knights who serve the Tucson community through various projects and fundraisers.

Members of St. Marks delivered a clothing donation to Casa Maria a few months ago and were inspired to return and help in the kitchen.

Sal Orlando, who served soup all morning, said, “Casa Maria is definitely needed. You don’t see this type of population in Oro Valley.”

Quince Caballeros de los Caballeros de Colón y sus familiares se ofrecieron como voluntarios aquí en el comedor por primera vez el sábado, 6 de junio.

San Marcos tiene 115 caballeros que sirven a la comunidad de Tucson a través de diversos proyectos y eventos para recaudar fondos.

Los miembros de St. Marks entregaron una donación de ropa a Casa María hace unos meses y se inspiraron para volver y ayudar en la cocina.

Sal Orlando, que sirvió la sopa durante toda la mañana, dijo: ” No cabe duda que Casa María es una necesidad. No  se ve este tipo de población en Oro Valley.”
